This is a gicleé print of a watercolor painting using my original technique. One day while creating a watercolor "pour", a hair fell into the wet paint creating a frosty looking line in the color. I learned to enhance the effect with sea salt and to uncover images by painting into the dried surface. This time, the colors and curves created by the hair suggested azalea flowers.
This giclée reproduction of an original watercolor by Mary Ellen Golden is printed on Arches Hot pressed watercolor paper with archival inks. It is presented in a clear bag backed with matboard.
